Lord Reginald Bonebridge: The Host

Once a celebrated gentleman conjuror with a taste for spectacle, Lord Reginald Bonebridge met his end during a death-defying escape that proved rather more permanent than advertised.

Now confined to Alouette Cemetery, Reginald has appointed himself its master of ceremonies, resident storyteller and—by his own estimation—the most important figure on the grounds. From his cage, he welcomes visitors, recounts the cemetery’s strange history and offers an ongoing commentary on both the living and the dead.

Pompous, theatrical and endlessly self-important, Reginald is particularly irritated whenever another resident receives more attention than he does. The singing pumpkins, the cauldron, the towering guardians and especially the cemetery’s more celebrated inhabitants are frequent targets of his resentment.

Yet beneath all the complaining, Reginald has become the unmistakable voice of Alouette Cemetery — part host, part storyteller and part unwilling tour guide.

Reginald may be dead, but his ego remains very much alive.
