High above Alouette Cemetery, fourteen feet in the air, floats Zephara Noctis — a winged skeleton draped in eerie luminescence. Known as the Angel of Lost Souls, she is neither guard nor ruler, but a messenger between worlds.
Zephara is said to carry whispers from the departed to the living, delivering cryptic fragments of memory and warning. Some claim her wings are woven from twilight itself, catching the faintest light of the moon as she hovers silently above the lamppost. Others insist that when the night grows still, her presence marks the crossing of souls who cannot find their way home.
Unlike the restless figures bound to the earth, Zephara belongs to the in-between. She does not watch, she does not judge — she conveys. A fleeting sign of connection between the realms of shadow and breath, she reminds visitors that the veil is thinner than it seems, and that every whispered message has its listener.
Zephara Noctis, The Angel of Lost Souls, won the award for Best Motorized /Animated Prop from the Home Haunters Award Show and from the Canadian Haunters Association for the 2024 haunting season!
